Gerald J. Brzuchalski, 64, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 2, 1948 to Louis Sr. and Elizabeth (Sirilo) Brzuchalski. He was a 1967 graduate of Macomber High School. Jerry served in the US Army during Vietnam where he received two Purple Hearts as a member of the 11th A.C.R. On May 15, 1971, he married Monica Brock. He was employed with Chrysler for 33 years as a press operator, retiring in 2001. Jerry was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing at Hidden Hills Golf Club. Jerry and Monica enjoyed traveling to the Black Horse Reunions for many years. Jerry'™s true passion was spending time with his granddaughter, Arabella and faithful dog, Abbey. Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Monica; sons, Aaron (De´ana) Brzuchalski and Jonathan (Jennifer) Brzuchalski; granddaughter, Arabella; siblings, Louis (Irene) Brzuchalski Jr., Betty Jane (Joe) Michalak, Patricia Fuehr, Rosemarie Brzuchalski, and Darlene Horosewski. Jerry is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends in the 11th A.C.R. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Brzuchalski Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm ��" 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 2:00 pm -8:00 pm where the rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Arabella Brzuchalski Scholarship Fund.
