Gerald E. Walls, 85, passed away on August 4, 2011 at Orchard Villa. He was born on June 15, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to Glenn and Eva (Ducatt) Walls. Jerry was a graduate of Libbey High School and a US Army Air Corps Veteran serving in WWII. He worked at Libbey Glass and Gene Richards and Sons. Jerry is a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Christ Dunberger American Legion. Surviving are his sons, Thomas and Michael (Judy) Walls; grandchildren, Steve (Amy) and Ryan (Kate) Walls; great grandchildren, Emily, Allison, and Valerie Walls. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eleanor; sister, Nancy Pacholski. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and where American Legion services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
