Gerald Lee 'Jerry" Warren, 93, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Roanoke, Illinois on July 11, 1933 to John and Cora (Hoffman) Warren. After graduating from high school, Jerry enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as an Airman First Class. He spent two years in Japan working in secret service doing morse code. On June 15, 1957 he married the love of his life, Peggy Sue (Eicher) and together they created many life long memories. Peggy remembers Jerry loved being on the farm where she grew up. He was an elder with the Church of Christ in Delta, Ohio, taught Sunday school to many youth and adults. He enjoyed singing in groups and choirs, served as a trustee and Sunday school teacher at Northwood Church of God. He had a passion for doing crafts, especially plastic canvas, specializing in making card holders and many other items. Jerry also liked to work word puzzles, play Sudoku, card games, dominoes and dice games. Jerry loved fishing whenever he got the chance, decorating cakes for family and friends, especially for baby showers. He was famous for his peanut brittle at Christmas time and loved traveling with his wife and children to all the states except Hawaii and Alaska, but what was most important to him was his loving family.
