Geraldine Mottmiller, 89, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on February 24, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on July 7, 1925 to Dee Jay and Annabelle (Mauthe) Phillips. Geraldine worked for Oregon Board of Education for 31 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church and was active in the VFW Post #9816 Ladies Auxiliary. Geraldine is survived by her son, Edward Mottmiller; daughters, Lila (Charles Marks) Altenbaugh, and Ida (Dennis) Mottmiller-Cremean; sister, Phyllis Dunmyer; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon and brother, James Phillips. Graveside services will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Geraldine's name are asked to consider First St. John Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
