Geraldine Rose Roberts went to be with the Lord Monday, April 23, 2018. Gerry was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 17 1921 to Martin and Katherine Lau. She enjoyed sports throughout her life; was an avid bowler; and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and scrabble. Gerry's true love was her family. She cherished many family gatherings and will be remembered in spirit for many years to come. Gerry survived by her children, Judith Jones and Sandra (Ken) Jacobs and Terence (Diane) Roberts; grandchildren, TJ, Larry, Brad, Lori and Adam; and great grandchildren, Kristen, Benjamin, Lindsey, Logan and Laina. She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Dena; husband, Lawrence; brothers Martin, Herbert and William; sisters Gertrude, an infant sister; and granddaughter, Jennifer. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Gerry spent the last years of her life at Little Sisters of the Poor – Sacred Heart Home. The family wishes to thank the sisters and staff for taking such wonderful care of her until she went to her new home in heaven.
