Germaine Grace Schuh passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 27, 2022. She was surrounded by her family at home as she passed. Germaine was born in Reedsville, Wisconsin, to Ernst and Selma (Herzog) Behnke, January 23rd, 1933. The youngest of four children, she grew up on the family dairy farm, graduated from Reedsville HS, class of 1951. Germaine worked as a bookkeeper for the Mirro Aluminum Goods factory in Manitowoc, WI. She married Bill V. Schuh, March 25th, 1955, moved to Toledo, Ohio where they raised two daughters, Día Marie, and Debra Ann.

Germaine is survived by her daughters, Dia Marie (Bill) Mermer, and Debra Ann (Mark) Ackerman; grandchildren, Amanda (Jon) Amazeen, Ashley (Nathan) Cooper, Rachel, Amy, and Daniel Ackerman; four great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Lloyd Behnke, Norman Behnke, sister Gertrude Haese, their spouses, and son-in-law Bill Mermer.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery.
