Gertrude Julia Bruggeman, 93, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2008, at Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born in Toledo to Richard and Anna (Johlin) Bruggeman on January 12, 1915. Trudy was a homemaker and a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. She loved her nieces and nephews and was a playmate and friend to them all. She loved to travel, learn about the United States Presidents and keep up with the news about the Royal Family. Aunt Trudy was a cat fancier all her life. Surviving are her brother, David Bruggeman; sister, Emma Harmon. She is also survived by her special niece, Carol Bruggeman and many other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in St. John Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions in Trudy's memory may be given to The Lutheran Home at Toledo. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes. Services: Thursday, 2 p.m.
