Gertrude A Knell, 72, of Oregon, passed away October 19, 2009 at Heartland of Oregon. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 25, 1937 to Arthur and Delsia (Carnell) Gschwind. Gertrude was a homemaker and enjoyed helping others while active at St. Paul's Senior Center. She is survived by her children Robert (Sandy Harkins) Knell Jr., Edward Knell, and daughter Janet Knell; brother, Vincent Gschwind; sister-in-law, Gloria Gschwind; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and many siblings.
