Gilberto M. Perez., 66, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on May 11, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born February 26, 1956 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to Gabriel Perez Figueroa and Santa Morales Garcia. Step Father Primitivo Cruzado(Papo).Gilberto worked as a mechanic for Direct Auto Sales for many years, before retiring in 2021. He was a loving father, amazing husband and an awesome grandfather. A "Jack of all Trades", in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and cooking. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Isabel Perez; children, Maria L. (Manuel) Rojas, Maria R. (Richard) Reed, Gilbert Perez Jr., Santa (Larenzo) Leake, Maria I. Perez and Juan (Nicole) Perez; 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his siblings Ana Delia Perez, Gabriel Perez, Maria Perez, Carmen Carrillo, Aida Perez, Maritza Perez Antonio Perez & a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Santa Morales Garcia, his two brothers Jesus Perez and Miguel Perez The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S Coy Road on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Repast: Latins United 706 S.
