Gina Irimia, age 40, passed away at her home on Monday, May 4, 2026. Gina was born in the Romanian countryside. She traveled to the states at five years old with her parents, Olympia Turtureanu and Mike Turtureanu.

She was a wife, mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. She believed there was nothing more important than family, her family to be precise. Her children, Mierah Burtis, Andrei Irimia, Alexander Irimia, Mihaella Irimia were always the light of her life and joy. She married at age 21 to Johnny Irimia, and those two became inseperable since the day they met. She left us unexpectedly, she will now be in the Kingdom of Heaven with her lost loved ones dancing in the sky.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel - 440 S. Coy Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with an additional hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Toledo.
