Gladys R. Neal, 96 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Gladys was born in Deerfield, Michigan on March 21, 1915 to Archie and Bertha (Courser) Roberts. She was a graduate of Libbey High School and was a member of the former Hayes E.U. B. Church. She loved making crafts, playing cards, dancing, and cooking. Gladys was always willing to help anyone in need and she will always be remembered as being a great loving mother and grandmother. Gladys was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children, Charles (Jane) Neal, Sylvia Neal (Jerry Causer) Vincent, Darlene (Jim) Mead; sister, Leatrice (Forest) Giffin; 10 grandchildren, Don (Marji) Vincent, Dave (Brenda) Vincent, Jim (Julie) Vincent, Tammy (Jim) Johnston, Lori (Jeff Fork) Rapp, Karen (Steve) Stubbins, Amy (Kelly) Masell, Jennifer Dotson, Michelle (Aaron) Marks, Michael (Kristen) Smith; 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Neal; her parents; siblings, Orpha Bell, Lawrence, Lucille, and Ron. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, Feb 19, 2012 from 2-8 p.m where her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am .
