Glen Charles Sigler, 76, of Oregon, OH passed away on July 9, 2003 in his home. He was born December 9, 1926 to Goldie (Reynolds) and Charles Sigler. Glen attended Clay High School and served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Lexington. He worked as a carpenter for over 50 years. Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Phyllis (Buchele); son, Jerry (Julia); daughters, Glenna (Randy) Taylor and Cathleen (Michael) Shobe; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be in North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Glen's honor can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care.
