Glendine L. Wooldridge, 99, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away, peacefully, Friday, August 27, 2021. Glendine was born in Medina, Ohio on July 12, 1922 to Glenn and Laura (Williams) Wooldridge. In 1940, Glendine graduated from Medina High school and attended Toledo University. For over 35 years, Glendine operated Wooldridge Insurance founded by her father until her retirement in 1988. Her greatest enjoyment was spending summers at her cottage on Round Bottom Lake in Maniteau Beach, Michigan. Glendine also had a great love of animals; especially her dog, B. J. and cats, Holly Susie, and Maggie Jo, Glendine is survived by her friend and caregiver Sueann Whitworth and cousin, Marilyn Heath. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Wooldridge; and dear friend, Joyce Holst. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
