Glendora Lucille Penovich died on May 20, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born September 2, 1920 to Quincy C. and Sina (James) Gillmore, now deceased, in Curtice, Ohio. Glendora graduated from Waite High School in 1938 and married the boy next door, Walter Penovich, on July 19, 1941, who preceded her in death on October 23, 2002 after 61 years of marriage. Dotty was a fabulous fifties homemaker, mother and wife. Surviving are her sons, Richard, Terry, and Norman; daughter, Glenda (Joe) Kane; granddaughter, Glencora Smith; sister-in-law, Hazel Gillmore. Preceding her in death were her sister, Betty and brother-in-law Fred Vandervort; brother, Clyde Harold Gillmore; nephew, Roger Gillmore and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Milan Penovich. Glendora and her family appreciated the wonderful care given to her by the nurses and aides of the Lutheran Home over the last two years. Services will be private and were arranged by the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home.
