Obituary

Glenn A. Bahnsen, 58, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at his daughter's home. He was born on August 3, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio to Alton and Ruth Bahnsen. Glenn was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed with the General Dynamics Tank Assembly Plant in Lima, Ohio for over 30 years before his retirement in 2006. Glenn coached basketball for Raymer School and local softball teams for many years. He was a loving father and grandfather. Glenn is survived by his children, Nicky (Douglas) Clark, Chad, and Amy (James) Willey; brother, Jerry (Nancy); sister, Carole (Winston) Underwood; grandchildren, Jacob, Jamie, Amber, Aaron and Ashlee, and several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elaine Bahnsen. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, May 9, 2008, from 2 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Willow Cemetery.
