Glenn J. Meszaros, 57, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Mercy St. Charles surrounded by his family.
Glenn was born in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Osta Mary (McKenna) Meszaros. He worked for over 30 years as a painter with Local 7 Painters Union. Glenn enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing bass guitar in two of his favorite bands, 'œSweet Cheeks' and 'œOasis'. Glenn'™s true passion was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jennifer (Spieldenner); children Steve (Monica), and Allison (John Barile) Irons; mother, Osta Mary; grandchildren, A.J. (15 years.), Alyssa (22 months.), and Aria (6 months); sisters, Sue Meszaros and Lori (Larry) Roberts, nephew, Aaron Roberts; and niece, Gayle Roberts. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Meszaros.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 30th from 2:00-8:00 pm where a scripture service will take place at 7:30pm in Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday March 31st at 11:00 am in St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner Street, Walbridge. Inurnment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. Charles Hospital Palliative Care Unit
