Gloria J. Carroll, 71, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born January 23, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to William and June (Spencer) Goeckerman. Gloria was a registered nurse with Riverside, St. Ann, and St. Charles Hospital for over 40 years, retiring in 2013. In addition, Gloria was an entrepreneur, owning many businesses. Gloria had a love of traveling to tropical destinations throughout the world. She enjoyed sports of all types and following her favorite player, Michael Jordan. Her true love was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and sharing in a game of euchre or pinochle. Gloria is survived by her soulmate, Terry Carroll; children, Shannon (Craig) Dippman, Tara (Brandon) Gordon, Jason (Samantha) Carroll; grandchildren, Taylor, Bryce, Cameron, Camila, Lucas, and Kaden; great-grandchildren, Kinsley & Everlee; siblings, Connie (Larry) Bumpus, Gerald (Brenda) Goeckerman, Debra (George) Matthews, Laura Yarger, and Ronald (Carol) Goeckerman; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Tyler Dippman. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 am in the funeral home.
