Grace A. Yard 77, of Millbury, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Grace was born in Toledo, Ohio to John Lewis and Dorothy (Lee) Fry. She was a 1962 Whitney Vocational School. Grace, a caring person, fostered over 200 children working with the Catholic Charites and later with Lucas County Children Services. Grace enjoyed camping with her family, but most of all just being with her them. Surviving are her husband, John A. Yard; children, Barbara (Mark) Garman, Trisha Yard, Michael Yard, Amy (Todd) Krukemyer, John C. Yard; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Fry sister, Dorothy Fry; sister-in-law, Patricia Fry. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Joseph, James Fry; sister, Mary Yard; sisters-in-law, Carol Fry, Mary Alice Fry, brother–in-law, Robert Yard. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 7, at 11:00 am at Epiphany of the Lord Parish St. Thomas Aquinas, 729 White Ave. Toledo, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
