Gregg James Babiuch, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Promedica Toledo Hospital. Gregg was born February 28, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, to Gregory Jospeh and Barbara (Larimer) Babiuch. In 1979, Gregg graduated from Waite High School. Gregg was a longtime employee and volunteer of the Toledo Zoo. He was a longtime season ticket holder of the Toledo Mudhens and Toledo Walleye. Always up for an adventure, Gregg treasured the times spent with his family at Cedar Point.

Gregg is survived by his father, Gregory Joseph Babiuch; daughter, Amanda Babiuch; grandson, Landon; and brothers, Dean Babiuch and Brian (Jammie) Babiuch; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and nephew, Jesse Babiuch.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Funeral services Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Ft. Meigs Union Cemtery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
