Harley F. Lober, 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away April 12, 2010 at Bay Park Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Harley was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 18, 1933 to William and Delpha (Hoaglin) Lober. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War. Harley had been employed at Teledyne for 39 years, retiring in 1995. He was a past commander of the American Legion '" Dunberger Post, a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Cass Road Baptist Church. Harley loved fishing on his boat named 'œMabel Louise' he also enjoyed bowling with his brother Bob. He was a man who looked forward to spending time with all his family and being the life of the party. Harley loved visits with his daughter and grandchildren.
Surviving are his daughter, Diane Schumaker; step-sons, Donald and Gary Dunbar; grandchildren, Danielle and Andrew; great granddaughter, Mya; sisters, Virginia Sandlin, Betty Kohanski, Lorrain Farnham and Barbara Vykopal; brothers, William and Robert Lober; and many nieces and nephews. Harley was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel in 2006, parents and sister, Helen Hooks.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Harley'™s memory can be made to the charity of donor'™s choice.
