Harold D. Padley Jr., 83 of Oregon, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 in Orchard Villa Nursing Home. Mr. Padley was born in Dunellen, New Jersey on December 6, 1927. Harold was a 1946 graduate of Whitmer High School. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Padley was employed for the US Postal Service for 37 years, retiring in 1983 as manager of vehicle services. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where he served on church council and was past president of the congregation. Harold was also a member of Genoa Lodge #572 F&AM and past member and worshipful master at Yondota Lodge.
Surviving are his loving wife, D. Jean Padley; son Mark ( Sue); daughter, Marcia ( Jim) Badhorn; grandchildren, Kim Padley, John (Brigid) Padley, Cassie, Emily and Jaime Badhorn. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Chet, Don, Robert and Ken Padley.
Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Friday, December 17th from 2 to 8 pm. Memorial services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Harold'™s memory may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
