Harold L. Schreiber, 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Orchard Villa in Oregon. Harold was born in Walbridge, Ohio on October 4, 1930 to Raymond and Anna (Hanely) Schreiber. Harold graduated from Lake High School in 1949. He worked as a tool and dye maker for Burndy and Dana Corporation for many years before retiring from Chrysler in 1993. Harold was also an Army Veteran and served in the National Guard. Harold was a member of the Harbor View Yacht Club and enjoyed boating and cars. He enjoyed building and running miniature boats. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia (King); daughters, Faith (Craig) Cataldo-Gauger, Beth Schreiber and Sandra Schreiber; and lifelong friend, Cliff Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, William Schreiber, Junior Schreiber and Betty (Schreiber) Berman. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at Lake Township Cemetery at a later date.
