Loving husband, father and grandfather, Harold "Hal" Schultz, 70, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 27, 1951 to Harold and Marguerite (Lehman) Schultz. He graduated from Waite High School in 1969 and went on to attend The University of Toledo. On March 24, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Deborah (Walker) and together they had four beautiful children. Hal had a passion for golfing, exercising, history, traveling and spending winters in Florida. What he cherished most was spending time with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Debbie; children, Aaron (April) Schultz, Dana (Kevin Wilson) Haase, Brandy (Scott Neison), Ashley (Cory) Burch; grandchildren, Jake, Halie, Logan, Aidan, Avery, Lily, Jesse, Isabelle, Rocco; great-grandchild, Keona; sister, Marlene (Fred) Devlin; brothers, Anson (Karen) Schultz, Fred (Janet) Schultz; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Cathy) Walker, Paul Griffin. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Gretchen.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Hal's name may be directed to, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
