Harold E. Smith, 87, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009, in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Smith was born in Toledo on December 6, 1921, to Earl and Anna (Crane) Smith. Harold was a graduate of Waite High School and was employed as a millwright at the former Unicast before his retirement in 1978. Surviving are his loving wife, Betty June; children, Gary (Diane), Daniel, Diane K. Davis, Mark (Janet) and Michael Smith; 9 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Road in Millbury, where visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
