Harry 'œBill' W. Hanthorn, 83, was born October 1, 1928 in Lima, Ohio to Charles and Alice (Iiams) Hanthorn. He passed away July 9, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Bill worked for L.O.F. for 39 ½ years of his life, retiring in 1986. He enjoyed traveling the country, hunting in his younger years, and enjoyed the company of other people. Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Janice Hanthorn; daughters, Mary Alice (Rick) Wilhelm, Ann M. Ross and Patty (Jeff) Olinger; son, Arthur Hanthorn; stepdaughters, Sandra Steffen and Deborah Steffen (Dean); stepson, Duane (Joannie) Steffen; sister, Delores Garcia; 29 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Chuck Hanthorn Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Newland, Mary Pierce, Bertha Dick; son Harry W. Jr., step-grandson, Morris Eaton II, and great grandson, Christian Olinger. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery.
