Harry J. Bucher Sr., 75, of East Toledo, passed away Friday, May 6, 2005, at Heartland of Oregon. Harry was born in Longton, Kansas, on July 22, 1929, to Robin and Emma (Foote) Bucher. He had worked for the Hamlet Estates as a groundskeeper and landscaper. Harry enjoyed fishing and the outdoors in his spare time.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia; children, Robert (Louise), Nancy (Ed) Brazelton, Betsy Caster, Randy (Eva), Tina (Michael) Crabtree, Harry Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond (Esther), Howard (Joanne); sisters, Nadine (Tom) Reinhart Sr., Betty (Harold) Seiple, Donna (Bob) Jess, Deloris (Ted) Rarig, Peggy (Ligbe) Woodlee, Sharon (Craig) Gosh. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted, Larry, Robin Jr., Charles and Robert; sisters, Norma Armstrong, Kittie Rice and Linda Bucher.
Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Fellowship will follow committal service at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville Road at Elmore Street. Expression of sympathy in Harry's memory can be made to his family.
