Harry F. Vaughan Jr., 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on November 25, 2015 at Genesis of Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Isabelle (McDonald) Vaughan. In his early years Harry enjoyed building and flying his U-Control airplanes, boating, and riding his Honda motorcycle. Later he enjoyed spending time with his late wife Theresa, and riding his Harley Davidson. He worked as the store manager at Norfolk & Southern for 26 years before retiring.
Harry is survived by his son, David (Rita) Vaughan, Eddie (Liz) Vaughan, Todd Vaughan; daughters, Becky (Darren) Vanornum, Judy (Ray) Cramer; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa; and siblings.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Harry's name are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association.
