Harry A. "Zeke" Goetz, 64, of Clay Center, Ohio passed away on January 10, 2009, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Port Clinton, OH on December 20, 1944, to William and Eleanor (Fillmore) Goetz. Harry was a longtime resident of Rocky Ridge, OH and worked as an inspector for 30 years with Doehler Jarvis retiring in 1998. He enjoyed playing cards, the Lottery, and Demolition derbies, fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife of 6 years, Faye; daughters, Vicki Goetz and Stacy (LaMont) Crawford; brothers, Norbert, Virgil, Vernell and Vernon Goetz; sister, Violet Floriana; grandchildren, D.J., Kelsea, Sydney, Savannah and LaMont II; ex-wife and special friend, Patricia Moreno; special niece, Julie Goetz and special buddy, Johnny Bond. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leon, Oswald and Harry; sisters, Virginia, Vera and Velma. Honoring Harry's wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge, OH on Saturday, January 24th, 2009, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home.
