Hazel V. Blakeley, 94, of Oregon, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2005, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Hazel was born on December 27, 1910, to Clyde and Etta (Doyle) Walton in Toledo, Ohio. She was the widow of Bronson Blakeley. She was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ. Surviving are her daughter, Joyce Reese; 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; son, Elvin Blakeley and great-grandson, William Lauer. Friends and family may visit from 2 until 9 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2005, in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
