Hazel A. Brockett, 84, of Toledo, OH, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 in St. Charles Hospital. She was born in Toledo on April 9, 1922 to Elbert and Lillian (Brockley) Frederick.  She was employed as a payroll clerk for 17 years with the Lutheran Orphans and Old Folk's Home, retiring in 1994. Hazel enjoyed traveling, gardening and sewing.   Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia (Dan) VanSlambrouck of Northwood, OH; son, Ralph (Mary) Brockett of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Megan Brockett; brothers, Henry (Kathryn) and Lawrence(Vy)  Fredrick; and several nieces and nephews.    Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 2 until 9 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 1 pm with interment following in Toledo Memorial Park.
