Hazel G. Hart, 82 of Oregon, Ohio went to be with the Lord Monday, December 1, 2003. She was born February 1, 1921 to the late Edward and Opal (Coy) Traver in Millbury, Ohio. She married George R. Hart on November 16, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Shirley. Surviving are her daughter, Judy (Sam) Sharp, son, George (Janet) Hart, as well as 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Hazel was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother. She enjoyed her family, friends and senior group activities. She had attended 1st St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was active in the women's guild for many years. Visitation will held Wednesday, December 3, at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon from 2-9 pm and where her funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Hazel's memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or to the First Baptist Church, Oregon or to the Donor's choice. The family would like to thank the doctors & staff of pallative care at St. Vincent-Mercy Hospital for excellent care given to Hazel during her stay.
