Hazel Snyder Lampros, born December 21, 1936, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2012. She was the daughter of Hazel and Rudolph Snyder. She worked at Mel Berman'™s, Frostop, where she was a co-owner and White Tower.
Hazel is survived by her children, stepdaughter, Rebecca (Harold) Blankenship, Judy Woods, Ralph Lampros Jr., Madonna (Mark) Deuschle, Denise Oancea, and Kathryn (Thomas) Fry. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Snyder and sister, Linda Anderson. Carrying on her legacy are 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; and special k-9 companion, Buddy. Hazel was met in Heaven by her husband, Ralph Lampros, Sr. and her brothers, Forest and Robert Snyder; grandson, Matthew Blankenship and great grandson, Jeffrey Harris III.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. with rosary services at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 550 Clark St., on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and where family will greet visitors beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
