Helen Rose Csengeri, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Community Village. She was born February 4, 1914 in Toledo to Michael and Rose (Zigray) Csengeri. Helen attended St. Stephen's School and was an active member of the parish, belonging to the Rosary Altar Society. She was employed by LOF as an assembler until she retired in 1980. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Michael and Steve; sisters, Mary Curry and Anna Csengeri; niece, Joanne Csengeri and very good friend, Joanne Renda. She is survived by nieces, Rosemary Belegrin, Irene Fuller, Karen Csengeri, Barb (Joe) Marazon; nephews, Gary (Joyce) Csengeri and Dennis Curry and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH on Thursday, September 4, 2003 from 3-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 10:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
