Helen B. Egnatz, 78, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 23, 2007. She was born on November 11, 1929, to Paul and Julia Konkoly. Helen was employed for several years at the Spitzer Building in downtown Toledo, and spent 20 years at Eastmoreland Rexall Pharmacy, before retirement. She and her husband, Charles enjoyed an active life together, spending winters in their Florida home, traveling to Hawaii, tropical cruises, and weekend polka and ballroom dancing with a wide circle of friends. In her later years, Helen became an avid line dancer with the local senior groups. Helen loved tending her garden, reading, walking in the park with friend Wanda, cooking and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Kippy. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles. She is survived by her son, Gary (Sharon) Egnatz; daughter, Gail Gabel; brother-in-law, Joseph "Augie" Agoston; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 2 nephews. Services for Helen will be privately held. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Helen's name are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society or charity of the donor's choice.
