Helen M. Harrell, 96, formerly of Oregon, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Mrs. Harrell was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 10, 1908 to Rolland and Amelia (Darmstadt) Peters. She was the widow of James C. Harrell who preceded her in death in 1972. Helen was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ and Yondota Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed both bowling and playing golf and played in many leagues at Chippewa Golf Course in her early years. Surviving are her daughter, Beverly (William) Lyons; sons, James (Joanne) Harrell and Marvin (Rosie) Harrell; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Lynn and Donald Harrell and daughter, Donna Harrell. Friends and family may visit from 2 until 9pm on Sunday, March 20, 2005 in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
