Helen B. Kerekes, 86 of Oregon passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Lutheran Home of Toledo. Helen was born on July 23, 1918 in Bryan, Ohio to Gust and Clara (Padocy) Kerekes. She had worked at 30 years for Champion Spark Plug. Helen was a longtime member of Stephen Catholic Church. In her spare time Helen enjoyed traveling and doing charity work for the missions. Surviving is her loving husband, Frank P. Kerekes; goddaughter, Patricia Knudson. Also surviving are many neices and nephews.Helen was precede in death by her parents, brother, William and sisters, Grace and Irene. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expression of sympathy in Helen's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
