Helen Mary (Csendes) Kertesz, 88, of Toledo went home to be with the Lord October 31, 2017. Helen,daughter of Pearl & George Csendes, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her sons, John (Sherry), Garry, Terry (Polly) and Kevin (Jane), her brother Frank (Dorothy) Csendes, nine grandchildren, their spouses, thirteen great grandchildren, and extended family members. Helen loved being a mom and grandma. She also worked as a hospital patient transporter, a teacher's aide and a home health aide. She loved music or all kinds and enjoyed playing the accordion and piano. She was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved being a Catholic and delighted in telling people about Jesus. Over the past two years she has lived and been lovingly cared for at Orchard Villa nursing home. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, November 4 from 1-8 PM at Eggleston Meinert and Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 6 at 11 AM at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford, Toledo. Memorial Contributions may be made directed to Alzheimer Association
