Helen V. Nagy, 94, of Toledo, passed away June 21, 2009, at Orchard Villa. She was born August 30, 1914, to Andrew and Mary (Karcsak) Toth. Helen was a glass worker at Libbey Owens Ford for 26 years before retiring in 1976. She was a life-long member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Quack" Nagy. She was the last remaining of 10 children in the Karcsak/Toth family. Helen was a caregiver for many of her siblings over the years. She felt it was the reason she was given a long life on this earth. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, but none more special than her nephew who she loved like a son, Ernie (Joanne) Toth, who lovingly assisted Helen with her needs over the years. Helen will be missed by all who enjoyed her company and lively conversations about politics and current events. Ernie and Joanne thank Aunt Julie Hager, who embodied a loving, caring spirit as she helped care for Helen. She was a dear and cherished in-law, neighbor and friend. Special thanks to Helen's faithful relatives and friends, Tab, Annette, Jim, Ann, Carol and Mary Jane. Helen's family thanks the staff at Orchard Villa; many who became like family to her over the past 3 years. Your kindness will remain in our hearts. In keeping with Helen's wishes a private, graveside service will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home.
