Helen L. Nyktas (Bright), 76, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Charles Hospital. Helen was born in Jackson, Ohio to Kenneth and Ola (Morris) Bright on April 20, 1942. Helen married the love of her life, Peter Nyktas on July 10, 1959 who preceded her in death. Together they enjoyed traveling and going fishing. Helen also enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable garden and adored her 2 four legged companions, but most of all cherished her family. Helen is survived by her children, Virginia (Ed) Branstutter, Bessie (Bob) Majchszak, William Nyktas, Mary Nyktas; grandchildren, Nicole, Olivia, Michael, Nicholas, Jeanie PJ, Carleigh, Kendall, Jagger, Quinnlynn and Jocelyn; great-granddaughter, Rylee with one more on the way; siblings, Boots, Jeanie, Richard, Leona and Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter; siblings, John, William, Robert, Harvey, Florence, Grace, Mary Ellen, Jane. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm with Trisagion Services at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Helen's name may be directed to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
