Helen Rose Szollosi, 77 of Oregon, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Bay Park Community Hospital. Helen was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 20, 1925 to George and Helen (Arvay) Vegh. She was a secretary for 12 years for the Oregon Board of Education retiring in 1990. Helen was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 57 years., Emery R.; children, Dennis E. (Michelle), Thomas R. (Joan), Connie S. Szollosi; granddaughter, Melodi (Michael) Ramtallie and her mother, Connie Szollosi; great-granddaughter, Madison Ramtallie, step grandson, Brett Juhasz. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Sunday and Monday from 2-9 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Helen's memory are asked to consider Northwest Ohio Hospice.
