Helen F. Tober, 93, of Oregon, passed away Friday, October 7, 2005, at Foundation Park. Helen was born in Moline, Ohio on June 11, 1912, to Henry and Matilda (Neuman) Tober. She had retired from Champion Spark Plug in 1973, after 31 years of service. Helen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her sister, Edna Huss of Florida; nephew, Tom Tober of North Carolina; niece, Jean Rehberg of Indiana. Also surviving are great nephews and nieces, Greg Tober, Ann Tober, Stephanie and George Hamrick. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expression of sympathy in Helen's memory can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
