Henry Meech, 77, passed away October 27, 2015 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Henry was born on March 20, 1938 in Millbury, Ohio to Abner and Doris (Osmond Young) Meech. Henry served in the US Air Force and later worked for Continental Coffee. Henry loved to play the guitar and travel with his wife, Irene, all over the United States. He was a collector of model trains and dabbled as an artist, enjoying painting. Henry is survived by his wife, Irene; sister, Rosemary (Lee) Angelus; mother-in-law, Irene Gall; brother-in-law, Steve (Simone) Gall; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Steve Gall. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home at 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Donations in Henry's memory are asked to be directed to Calvin United Church of Christ.
