Hermelinda Villegas, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on September 3, 2021 at UTMC. The spirit of our beautiful mother passed away peacefully, into the loving arms of our Lord on September 3, 2021. Our mother, Hermelinda, was a faithful servant of our Heavenly Father. She lovingly guided our family on the righteous path to salvation. We mourn the loss of her presence as her strength served as the true backbone in our family. We fondly remember her passion for birds, nature, and gardening. Her large flower garden was so great, it often attracted audiences. As a master at crocheting, she created stunning designs that will forever remain priceless treasures. We often looked forward to her incredible cooking as she always left us craving for more. She was a generous soul who never hesitated to help anyone in need. Hermelinda zealously enjoyed every moment with all 21 of her grandchildren. She was known for spoiling them in every way possible and her warm embracing hugs will be sorely missed. Our mother was a beautiful gift that we were blessed to have loved, but unfortunately had to return to our Heavenly Father. Above all, she was a devoted wife to our father, a loving mother, and a dedicated grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Juan Garcia Villegas; children, Sergio (Ramona), Eleazar (Todd) Reynolds, Juan, Diego, Salome (Jessica), Jose (Melissa), Joel (Jennifer), and Miguel (Jennifer); 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many siblings. Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St, Ignatius Cemetery.
