Hilda Jean Bowers, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on July 20, 2003 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Barnsville, OH to J.L. and Fannie (Little) Hayes. Hilda was a notary public for 15 years and a lifetime auxiliary member of the VFW Post #4906. Surviving is her husband, Eugene; son, Wayne; sisters, Janis Besozzi and Melba Waller, and several nieces and nephews. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl Hayes, Leonard Hayes and Merlin Hayes; sister, Eunice Depew. Visitation will be held in the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH on Wedenesday, July 23, 2003 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM. Entombment will be in Toledo Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions in Hilda's honor can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
