Howard H. Cowell Jr., 69, of Williston, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Howard was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 12, 1938, to Howard H. and Evelyn L. (Arnold) Cowell Sr. Howard resided at the Luther Home of Mercy Williston for the past 16 years. Howard had a love for "RED CARS". He will always be remembered as a very loving son, brother, uncle and someone special to all who knew him. Howard also had a love for all animals. Surviving are his mother, Evelyn; brothers and sisters, Arnie (Barb), Norma Langlois, Darlene (Fred) Foor, David (Brenda), Donald (Marie), Sam (Chris), Buzz (Mary Jo), Shelley (Mike) Pawlowicz, Robert (Sherry). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Terrell and Bessie Arnold, Nellie and William Cowell; brother-in-law, Ed Langlois. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
