Howard N. Floyd, 78, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. Howard was born in Brewer, Maine on November 27, 1938 to Henry and Alice (Grant) Floyd. For 25 years, Howard worked as a machinist with Materials Science and later as a security guard with 1st USA Security. He was a devoted fan of the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and New York Giants. Howard was an avid golfer and enjoyed candle pin bowling. Howard is survived by his children, Kimberly (Sean) Geagan, Jason Floyd, and Amanda Floyd; grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, and Kaylee; longtime girlfriend, Judy Wiedman; and sister, Margaret Viricel. He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm. interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.www.egglestonmeinert.com
