Hubert Jones, 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on July 29, 1930, to Levi and Nanni (Paul) Jones. He was employed as a glass cutter with Toledo Plate and Window for over 30 years. Hubert enjoyed helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. Hubert is survived by his only daughter; Colleen (Jerry) Davis; grandchildren; Jay (Linda) Davis and Ivy Davis; great-grandchildren, Jay Jr., Ashley, Devon, and Cali Daniels, and Arthur Griswold; former wife, Opal Bundy; and dog, Sox. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert &Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday September 4th from 10:00 am until time of funeral; service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the family.
