Imogene J. Boyd, 79, of Millbury, OH passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2006 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Boyd was born on August 23, 1926 in Martin, OH to Herbert and Anna (Diebert) Veler.  She married Cloice Rettig in November 1944 and they divorced in 1959.  She married Tom Boyd on May 14, 1960 and he survives.  Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, metal detecting, and mushroom hunting and was an avid gardener.   Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughter, Nancy (Ken) Blecke of Fremont, OH; son, Michael (Dora) Rettig of Westminster, MD; step-son, Patrick (Lillian) Boyd of Maumee, OH and step-daughters, Patricia (Dale) Homer of Maumee, OH, Tanya (Jeffrey) Barker of PA and Debra (tom) Kwiatkowski of Toledo, OH; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances McGill and Gloria Uhde; brothers, Emerson and Franklyn Veler both of Toledo, OH and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herbert Jr., James, Lyle, Roger and Kenneth Veler and great grandson, Aaron Kanter.   There will be no visitation and services will be private.  The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury, OH.
