Irene Prothero Denmark, 62, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born on April 7, 1950 to Santos and Jovita (Lopez) Sanchez. Irene enjoyed being with family, watching the Sci-Fi Channel and attending cookouts. Irene is survived by her husband, Frederick Charles Denmark, Jr.; daughters, Rebecca Prothero (Ben) and Charlie Prothero (Mike); step-daughters, Michelle Denmark (Jodi) and Kim Denmark; grandchildren, Norena, Michael, Dano, Alyssa, Anthony, Shane, Jonny, Anna, Nicky, Devon, LaLa, Codas, Dubby, Kia, GG, Chey, Bry, Wessy; great-grandchild, Mia; 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, George and Moe. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
