Irene Kinsey, 88, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at the Wright-Harvey House in Northwood, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 7, 1920, to Alexander and Mary (Varga) Toth. Irene was employed as a sales clerk with the Bleckner Music Store for 20 years and most recently with St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Admitting for 10 years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening in her spare time and was a member of the Oregon Garden Club. Irene was a loving mother who dedicated herself to raising three children following the death of her husband when she was 37 years old. She was known as someone who always helped others in their time of need and who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Michele (Daniel) Gross and Edward (Lisa) Kinsey; grand-children, Ashley, Grant and Katie Kinsey, Adam and Matt Gross. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Kinsey; daughters, Connie Kinsey and Kathleen Kinsey-Dominique. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 4-8 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Irene's memory are asked to consider St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
